Our Story
Our Mission
The Growing Place is committed and dedicated to serving children and families who have been affected by autism. We serve our families with respect, love, and dignity. There are many families in Anderson and the surrounding areas who struggle to find services for their children in need.
We strive to eliminate barriers to services and allow families from all walks of life to be a part of our TGP family. Our greatest joy is to give families hope and to help them navigate this journey. We want The Growing Place to be the place where children and families come to grow.

Josh runs the maintenance side and many of the back-office components of the clinics. The couple has been married since October 2003 and have 3 sons and 1 daughter. The family is active in the community with sports and school activities for their children. They reside in Pendleton, which is the couple’s hometown. They have returned to Pendleton after traveling through Josh’s military service. Josh and Emily are elated to be back in Pendleton and serving a community they love.
